RALEIGH, N.C. (Reuters) – Four bed frames for $4,000, plus $700 in shipping and handling, are being sold in Raleigh, North Carolina, for the highest price on the market, with the owner selling them for a lot of money.
A Facebook post on Friday showed the four-bedroom home, which was built in 1998, for sale on Craigslist.
It listed an estimated asking price of $3,924, with a sale contract ending on April 29.
“This is one of the best bargains I’ve ever seen, and I can’t wait to take it home,” the post said.
The seller is a man named David, who said he lives in the house with his wife and two children.
The 4-bedroom house is located on a quiet cul-de-sac in Raleigh’s Hatteras Park neighborhood.
It is the only dwelling in the subdivision that does not have a pool, according to city officials.
It’s about an acre in size.
David told Reuters the home has a pool and is in good condition, but has no windows, so he can’t offer up a description of it.
