Pallets are the standard and the cheapest way to house your football pitch, but it’s best to get one that’s actually made of wood, says sports photographer Paolo Palletti.
It can also help protect your home from being ripped apart by a storm.
Here are some tips for getting the most out of your pallet-framed football bar.
1.
Pick a nice wood-burning stove The cheapest way of getting the right kind of wood to house a football pitch is to buy one that has been specially crafted with the wood burning stove in mind.
This is because a typical football pitch has two to four different kinds of wood burning stoves, says Palletta.
“This gives a lot of flexibility to build the best structure for your game.”
He recommends buying a wood stove that’s designed for a specific purpose, such as a football field.
“A typical stove is a rectangular shape that has to be heated by a burner, which is very inefficient,” says Palleti.
“It is not possible to use the same stove with different types of wood.”
The most common kind of wooden stove for a football bar is a wood burning engine that has a range of speeds to allow the wood to burn evenly and evenly.
“With this type of stove, you can get very long burns, because it doesn’t need to heat the whole wood,” says the Italian.
“But it is the most energy efficient type of wood burner, because of its low heat capacity.”
To get the most from the wood stove, Pallettis recommends buying the kind that is more efficient.
“The type that is best for the wood is a flame-retardant type,” says Palmerletti, “and this means it has a lower heat capacity.
You should buy the kind with the most heat capacity, because if it’s very inefficient, you’ll get less fire in the first few hours of use.”
A good choice is a wooden stove with a range between 50 to 100 degrees Celsius, or hotter.

Choose a wood-fired oven A good wood burning oven is one that is made of a wood burner that is specifically designed to burn wood.
This kind of stove can be as simple as a single-burner stove or as complex as a wood fire-pit that has multiple ovens that burn wood chips or other materials.
“You have to choose a good kind of oven for the home, because the best kind of cooking oven is not only an oven that burns wood chips, but also a wood oven that is well insulated,” says Carlo Pareto, a sports photographer who is based in Rome.
“In the summer, the wood oven will be very warm, but in the winter, it will be cold.
This will be difficult to do at home, so the best thing to do is to make a wood cooking oven that has some insulation.”
The wood oven should be insulated with an insulated wood sealer and a wood block that is about three centimeters thick.

Choose an oven with a good chimney If you want to get the best out of the wood-burners you buy, it’s important to choose an oven you can make your own, says Paretoni.
